We are still short of members willing to participating in any local activities. Take the time and contact me and show your support. Area "A" consist of three counties Wayne, Monroe and Washtenaw. I have divided these counties into seven areas and need some volunteers to be regional directors in these areas. Contact me through my web site or call 734-658-9355 if interested

 I need to ask for some volunteers to be Regional Directors. I have taken the three counties Wayne, Monroe and Washtenaw and divide them into seven regional areas.

The role of Regional Director is to be a direct tie to the general membership by region coordinating events and fundraisers.

Responsibilities: To answer to the Area Director PRIOR to sending out written letters of direction to the general membership. To contact members assigned to him/her monthly whether by phone, postcard or regional newsletter. To establish an itinerary of activities for the region and submit it to the Area Director.

These are the areas and the cities within that are in need of regional directors. If interested contact me anytime.

July 1: Turtle season opens in the Lower Peninsula.

July 15: Turtle season opens in the Upper peninsula

Fishing Derby

June 21: Harrison Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the 21st Annual Budd Lake Fishing Derby beginning at 6 a.m. Call (989) 539-6011 for more info.

June 21: International Game fish Association will hold a Jr. World Record Day, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Compass Point Marina in Fair Haven. This fishing derby is free to kids age 16 and under and several line-class world records could be set. Call (586) 725-3011 or (800) 465-5800 for more info.
